Tamaynoute Cooperative
Tamaynoute, which means ‘the new one’ in Amazigh, is a women’s cooperative founded in 2004. Located in the village of Azrarague, in the south of Morocco, in the Agadir region, it is at the heart of the argan-growing area, benefiting from the unique ecosystem of the argan trees.
Aims and tasks
The women's cooperative Tamaynoute, as its name reveals, was created with the aim of improving the socio-economic situation of the rural women and the population of the village and neighbouring villages,
