The women's cooperative Tamaynoute, as its name reveals, was created with the aim of improving the socio-economic situation of the rural women and the population of the village and neighbouring villages, by providing a decent and stable income to ensure a dignified standard of living and to combat the dropping out of school among rural girls.
The project also aims also to promote argan oil nationally and internationally. Preservation of the argan forest, know-how and traditional practices around the argan tree, reflecting ancestral knowledge and a sustainable way of life .
